First division side Pieta added to Tarxien’s problems yesterday eliminating them from the UBet FA trophy with 3-0 win.

Pieta started well and took the game in hand putting pressure on the Tarxien rearguard but only managed to break through just before the break when Brazilian striker Dos Santos connected on a Pisani cross to open the score.

Ismael Grech saw his effort hit a Rainbows defender before ending in the net and Dos Santos scored again on 75 minutes for a final score of 3-0.
