Local club Luxol SC and Gozitan football club Kercem Ajax have sealed their long-term friendship and collaboration with a twinning agreement signed recently.

The signing ceremony was held at the Kercem Sports complex for which Minister for Gozo Giovanna Debono was also in attendance. Also present was Parliamentary Secretary Chris Said, the mayor of Kercem Joe Grima, the president of the Gozo FA Alvin Grech, members of the two clubs’ committees and other guests.

On this occasion, several tournaments for youngsters attending the nurseries of the two clubs were held during that weekend.

It is hoped that this new agreement will continue to strengthen the two clubs and their respective administrations which are both committed to eventually get the desired fruit from such collaboration.

The agreement should see coaches from both clubs attending training abroad in the next few months.
