The tournament held yesterday at the Centenary Stadium, Ta’ Qali, was won by the Coaches selection.

Apart from the Coaches (MFCA), teams from Journalists (GHGS), Referees (MFRA) and the MFA staff, took part in the event, in aid of l-Istrina, organised by the Community Chest Fund. The sum of €3,050 was collected from the donations provided by the participant associations/teams as well as individuals.

Results

MFRA-MFA staff 1-1; MFCA-GHGS 3-0; MFRA-GHGS 1-1; MFA Staff-MFCA 2-3; MFRA-MFCA 1-2; MFA Staff-GHGS 4-3.

As can be seen from these results, the coaches team won the tournament with maximum points. The MFA Staff team finished second with four points, MFRA two and GHGS one point.
