Stephen Vella was the overall winner of The Vassons Trap Trophy during a competition organised by The Malta Shooting Sport Federation at Bidnija yesterday.

The first three places had to be decided with a shoot off between Stephen Vella, George Cassar and Jason J.Aquilina who had finished on equal points after the barrage final.

Stephen Vella won with 102+16=118+s/off+1, George Cassar placed second with 101+17=118+s/off+0+1 and Jason J. Aquilina closed in third with 100+18=118+s/off+0+0. Silvio Attard was fourth with 101+16=117, followed by Frans Pace with 98+18=116 and Eugene Borg with 91+15=106
