The first teams’ friendly of its kind was organised recently by Joseph M Debono under the auspices of Attard Subbuteo Club. This event was sponsored by Sports Experience of Attard.

The game ended in a 3-0 victory for Napoli with the following results:

Mark Gauci and Joseph Mifsud eased their way to comfortable victories with a thrilling game between veterans Joe Zammit Pavia and Joseph Debono proving to be a balanced match. It ended with a goal just six seconds from the final whistle.

After the matches Frans Debono, on behalf of Sports Experience, presented the trophy to Napoli captain Joe Zammit Pavia and mementoes to all players who participated in this event.

Joseph Debono was in high spirits after this event which will mark the opening for further friendly games and possibly a league tournament which will involve subbuteo players participating under the names of Italian, English and Maltese clubs.
