The annual sponsorship Baileys Feeds Cup finals were held last Sunday during the sixth meeting.

Ten races over 2,100 metres with three cups (5) C/D, (7) A1 and (9) A\B were sponsored by Baileys.

The results were:

1st Melino du Rib - driver Carmel Debono

Race 9 - A\B

1st Mealington - driver Karl Caruana

2nd Tip Tip Tap - driver Mario Bugeja

3rd Victory Farming - driver Peter Paul Said

These finals followed the heats held during the fifth meeting on New Year’s day.

The association’s chairman, David Apap Agius,  welcomed the sponsors which have again been confirmed for this year.

“This is one of Gozo horse racing’s annual calendar event not just for the horse racing enthusiasts but also for those who follow our competitions on a regular basis. Baileys Feeds Cup also attract more spectators to the Ta’ Xhajma complex,” said Apap Agius.

The association appreciates the support especially to the Gozo horse owners, the Maltese owners which are getting more familiar with the Xhajma Complex, horse racing enthusiasts and all spectators.
