Air Malta is now offering its passengers the possibility to purchase seats with extra legroom. Passengers who would like to sit more comfortably in seats having at least 8cm of extra legroom have now the option to purchase these seats at checkin.

This service is available on all Air Malta scheduled flights departing from Malta as well as from other airports which the airline operates from with the exception of flights departing from Tripoli, Catania and Munich. The quantity of extra legroom seats which include seats in emergency exits is limited on each flight and the number may vary according to the type of aircraft.

This new service is available at a charge of €25 per sector and subject to availability.

Persons with reduced mobility, passengers under 16 years of age and passengers travelling with infants or carrying pets in cabin cannot be seated at an emergency exit row.

Clients who book their preferred seat via the booking engine when booking their flight ticket will be provided with their reserved seat.

Air Malta maintains its commitment in offering value for money and superior service and enhanced levels of customer satisfaction both in its economy as well as business class cabins. It offers passengers complimentary refreshments as well as newspapers.

Passengers travelling in economy class also benefit from an allowance of one 10Kgs free hand luggage and a poolable 20Kgs baggage allowance while its club class passengers enjoy the possibility of carrying two pieces of hand luggage for a total weight of 15Kgs plus 30Kgs baggage allowance all for free. Air Malta also offers its passengers an interlineable network whereby passengers can also transit and continue their journey beyond its network of destinations.
