The President of the Malta Weightlifting Association, Jesmond Caruana has been chosen by the International Federation to act as refereee next week in an international tournament in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

This opportunity is important for Caruana to attend and participate in as in a few months’ time, he will be refereeing in this year’s biggest sports event, the Olympics, which will be taking place in London.
