Malta Independent Tuesday, 24 January 2012, 00:00 Last update: about 13 years ago

Mosta continued with their movements in the January transfer window with the signing of 21-year-old Tanzanian forward Zakaria Kibona from Atlantis FC of Finland.

Earlier they had signed Florent Raimy and Obinna Obiefule.

His arrival has led to the release of forward Maki Mvondo. The Cameroon forward scored three goals in the Premier League this season, but since Obinna Obiefule joined the club he lost his place in the team.

Meanwhile, it is also known that Mosta have finalised a deal with Valletta FC which will see midfielder/striker Dyson Falzon returning to the Mosta side on loan till the end of the season.

Last year, Falzon finished the season on loan at Hamrun Spartans.

He now hopes to become an asset to his former club which is fighting to avoid relegation.

Valletta confirmed the transfer on loan of Falzon. They also said that Birkirkara had been interested in the player’s services, but the citizens turned down their offer.

Mosta are now intent on signing another foreigner. He is a midfielder from Serbia, Predrag Mirceta.
