Tony Drago will be flying the flag for Malta in the Sky Snooker Shoot Out, vying to win the £32,000 winner’s cheque.

The event is being held at the Blackpool Tower between tomorrow and Sunday

Drago is Malta’s most famous export, whose high speed potting is loved the world over.

The Shoot Out format should be ideally suited to the man who etched his name in the Guinness Book of Records with the fastest frame in history and the fastest ever century break.

Drago was involved in one of the event’s most dramatic moments last year, when his opponent, Rory McLeod, fluked the final black just as the time up buzzer rang.

This year Drago faces his On Q Promotions stablemate Andy Hicks.
