Another racing meeting will be held at the Marsa race track next Sunday, starting at 1.30pm. The race card comprises eight trot races on a 2,140m distance.

The Premier class race has all the components of a final. Sixteen high quality trotters are involved including Fire (winner of four from five races in Malta), Nevaio des Bordes runner-up in the recent Prix de Vincennes final, Noble d’Ete coming from a win in its last race, Arnie Sensation which took a good place in the recent VOB Grand Final and many other solid horses.

This should be a very balanced race with some of our best trotters challenging each other till the end.

There will also be two interesting Gold class races. The first includes various trotters coming from splendid performances, such as Nicos de Peneme coming from a win in a very good time, Lutan Villetot and others and the return of popular trotters She’s Dreamlike and Chilly Beast.

The second race comprises horses which are quite close to promotion to the Premier class, such as Touch The Diamond winner of its last race, Nacarat Campbell winner of the recent Pavo Feeds Final, Label Chouan winner of the recent Prix de Cabourg final and many others.

Another exciting programme is in the offing, as horses, trainers and enthusiasts follow horses’ progress in anticipation of the championships starting in February.
