Clive Farrugia was the overall winner of The Wenzu Vella Skeet Trophy during a Selection Shoot organised by The Malta Shooting Sport Federation at the Bidnija ranges.
The competition was on 125 clays Skeet, with the best six shooters qualified for a barrage final of another 25.
Clive Farrugia won with 127 (104+23) with Joseph Muscat just two points behind with 125 (103+22). Darren Vella was third with 118 (98+20) followed by Jason Sciberras with 117 (97+19), Paul Sant with 112 (95+17) and Noel Scicluna with 108 (92+16).

A team from Wales were in Malta for a training camp last week.
The team included Trap shooter Scott Morgan and Skeet shooter Rhys Price who were assisted by their coach Richard Stepney.
Two Welsh Sports scientists, Tom Maynard (Nutritionist) and Fionn Mac. Partlin (Strength & Conditioning) were also assisting the Welsh shooters.
In a comment to the MSSF, Richard Stepney who is a regular visitor to Malta said that if Malta had more facilities, The Welsh Team would definitely choose the island for their training camps in the winter months.
