The two young girls were doing nothing in particular. They were just happy being in love, I guess. Too bad their happiness was very short-lived. Two young men appeared from nowhere and gave one of them the beating of her life. Why they chose her and not the other will always be unknown to me and to many others.
With regards to the two young men, I guess they couldn’t stomach seeing two girls in a relationship, even though we see them everywhere. What a shame! How terrible it feels to be Maltese when incidents like these happen.
Why can’t people accept that some people are different from others? They are called homosexuals, transsexual, gays, lesbians etc. What happened to the young girl was appalling! You do not find such incidents happening in other civilised parts of the world, so why here? We Maltese have progressed so much in many aspects. Unfortunately though we have not learned to accept people as they are.
