Malta Independent Sunday, 5 February 2012, 00:00 Last update: about 13 years ago

There will be another 90 minutes of non-stop football awaiting all football fans on this evening’s Kontrattakk on TVM.

Another weekend with six Premier League matches – all goals and highlights together with post-match interviews to be viewed during the programme. This weekend’s encounters include Tarxien vs Sliema, Qormi vs Hibs, Floriana vs Mosta, Valletta vs Marsaxlokk, Ħamrun vs Mqabba and Balzan vs Birkirkara.

Something unusual will be a feature prepared by Catherine Micallef including both the 12 Premier League teams and the Eurovision songs.

Following this weeks’ U-BET FA trophy draw which coupled the second and third placed, Hibernians and Floriana respectively, Net TV’s Replay’s attention reverts to the BOV Premier League.  Konrad Sultana and Hugh Caruana will indulge in a discussion which will summarise this weekend’s fixtures.

Joining them will be Tarxien’s team manager John Vella, Marsaxlokk’s committee member Anthony Lee Baldacchino, Mqabba’s mentor Clive Mizzi and Hibernians’ vice-president David Abdilla.

Friday’s big game between Hibernians and Qormi (2-0) and today’s derby between Balzan and Birkirkara will take centre stage.

Meanwhile, L-Argument on One TV will feature Mano Micallef of Floriana, who has been voted Atlas player of the month

This week l-Argument takes us into the world of first division football.

Guests in the programme include Pieta H coach Edmond Lufi and resident guest Mark Marlow who, together with others, will fuel the discussion.  Significantly this week, l-Argument will air highlights of Friday and Saturday’s first division games.

L-Argument today will, as usual, also be giving space to female football.
