It amazes me how the St Julian’s Local Council, just a few weeks before the Local Council Elections of 10 March, is handing out tree planters (TMID, 13 February) Maybe the St Julian’s local council kept back from distributing these three planters earlier to see whether when exposed to the elements these tree planters would withstand the hail and bad weather we have been getting.
