FC Porto right back Danilo has withdrawn from Brazil’s friendly against Bosnia because of a knee injury.
Danilo injured a ligament in his left knee in Porto’s match against Manchester City on Thursday.
The Brazilian federation said the player will be sidelined for six weeks.
Brazil will play Bosnia in Switzerland on 28 February in its first match of the year.
It wasn’t clear whether coach Mano Menezes would call up another player to replace Danilo.
