Special Product from Banif Bank for President’s Award participants

Malta Independent Sunday, 26 February 2012, 00:00 Last update: about 12 years ago

Participants in the President’s Award are indeed doubly fortunate youngsters.

They have the golden opportunity of taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award programme that empowers them with the necessary life skills to be responsible citizens of tomorrow, and, in addition, they are currently also able to earn a bonus interest rate when they open a Monthly Savings Scheme from Banif Bank.

The Monthly Savings Scheme can be opened with just €100, with a minimum deposit of €50 per month, for a period of one or two years.

This Special Product Offer had been launched by Banif CEO Joaquim Silva Pinto, late last year, during a Breakfast Meeting, attended by H.R.H. Prince Edward, when announcing that Banif Bank (Malta) plc was one of the main sponsors of The International Forum 2012.

The International Forum 2012 is a triennial event, for all National Award Authorities participating in the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Programme, being held in Malta in late November.

As the youngest commercial bank in Malta, Banif has a natural affinity with youngsters and prides itself in its ability to come up with versatile product offers, like the one launched for all participants and award winners, up to the age of 25 years, of the President’s Award, which is intended to encourage them to manage their money wisely and save for the future.

The Special Product Offer will be available until the end of November 2012. More information can be obtained by visiting any of Banif’s branches located in Attard, Fgura, Gozo, Naxxar, Qormi, Rabat, San Gwann, St Julian’s and St Paul’s Bay, by logging onto Banif’s website – www.banif.com.mt, by sending an email to [email protected] or by calling on number 22601000.
