Football – Malta-Liechtenstein Friendly - Robert Gatt names 18-man squad for tomorrow’s match

Robert Gatt yesterday named his 18-man man squad for the friendly match Malta-Liechtenstein to be played tomorrow at the Ta’ Qali national stadium (kick-off 7.30pm).

There are a few changes to the squad which had last represented Malta under John Buttigieg in October of last year for the match against Israel.

Central defender Luke Dimech, now playing for Larnaca in Cyprus, and who had been omitted by former coach John Buttigieg much earlier,is expected to return to the team tomorrow. Right flank defender Alex Muscat, of Sliema, is back in the squad after his welcome return to action from a long term injury.

Newcomers to the squad are young midfielder Bjorn Kristensen of Hibernians and Sliema goalkeeper Henry Bonello.
