Muscats In Ray Farrugia’s U-21 squad

Ray ‘Zazu’ Farrugia can count on experienced Zach Muscat and Rowen Muscat for tomorrow’s clash against Hungary at the Hibernians Stadium (kick-off 3pm).

Zach has been removed from the national squad to be able to play for Farrugia’s side, at least for this encounter (he had been named by Gatt last week in the national team provisional squad) while Rowen Muscat is back from injury.

Farrugia has named the following squad for tomorrow’s friendly:

Goalkeepers

Adrian Parnis - Xewkija Tigers FC; Steve Sultana - Qormi FC.

Defenders

Owen Bugeja - Floriana FC; Yessous Camilleri - Balzan Youths FC; Matthew Gauci - Hamrun Spartans FC; Luca Martinelli - Mosta FC; Zach Muscat - Pieta Hotspurs FC.

Midfielders

Jonathan Bajada - Mosta FC; Clyde Borg - Floriana FC; Triston Caruana - Qormi FC; Sheldon Grech - Mosta FC; Rowen Muscat - Birkirkara FC; Ryan Scicluna - Birkirkara FC.

Strikers

Miguel Ciantar - Balzan Youths FC; Daren Falzon - Naxxar Lions FC; Jean Paul Farrugia - Marsaxlokk FC; Steve Pisani - Hibernians FC; Terence Vella - Mosta FC.

Free admission for

both matches

The MFA is opening the doors of the National Stadium and those of the Hibernians Stadium for free admission for those who want to support the Maltese national teams.

At Ta’ Qali the gates will be open from 6pm (kick-off 7.30pm) while those at the Hibernians Stadium for the Under 21 match will open at 2pm (kick-off 3pm).

The association is urging the Maltese football enthusiasts to give their support to the two Malta teams in action today.
