The Greens Cycling Club will hold its annual event - the Greens Team Time Trial - on the Bahar ic-Caghaq Coast Road tomorrow.

This is one of the most exciting races in the local calendar as local clubs challenge each other with their best four-man formation over a distance of 40km.

Team Greens have won all the four editions of the race so far, however they face stiff challenge from all major clubs.

Greens will rely on the services on national time trial champion Etienne Bonello who led his team to four consecutive victories.

He will be joined by Jason Vella with further reinforcement from Christopher Gatt and Gerard Said. 

After having secured all the podium places in the Qormi-Dingli time trial a few weeks ago, Team Greens start as favourites in this team competition. 

The Coast Road will be closed to traffic (except public transport), from the entrance to Maghtab to Salina junction from 7.30am till 10am.

The event will be sponsored by Greens Supermarket, BBB bike parts and Eurosport.
