The Bank of Valletta winter league resumes this afternoon at the Tal-Qroqq pool with the second round of matches.

Marsascala face San Giljan in the opening match to be followed by the Sliema-Neptunes big clash and concluding with the Exiles-Sirens game. Yesterday, in the non-competitive match, Valletta faced the ASA Youth Selection.

The Sliema-Neptunes clash will certainly be the main attraction on the programme and the outcome may also give an indication as to where the title will be going this season, even if the competition is still in its early stages.

In their opening match, both teams registered easy wins against Exiles and Marsascala.

In the other matches, San Giljan should be considered favourites to beat Marsascala, while Sirens will be playing their first competitive match today when facing Exiles. Last week they beat the ASA Youth Selection 15-5.
