I would like to take the opportunity of thanking the residents of Ħal Luqa and Ħal Farruġ for re-electing me mayor with a total count of 852 votes. This is the fifth time for me, and is clearly a firm confirmation of all the work I have carried out with the assistance of my fellow councillors.

Indeed, this continuous vote of faith gives me the courage to continue with my efforts in the best interests of all residents. I feel I have been entrusted with the responsibility of ensuring that more improvements are effected in the locality, by all possible means and on every level.

For my part, I promise residents that I will remain in close contact with them, working for their benefit. I feel I am the mayor of all the people in my locality without exception; hence, everyone may expect from me all possible assistance.

In conclusion, I would again like to thank all voters for the faith they have shown in my fellow councillors and me, and urge them to come join us in walking the path of progress.
