After last weekend’s cancellations of matches, this week shall be a tough one for all those involved in local football as an extra effort needs to be made by those teams who have to play two matches within a span of four days.

Sandro Micallef, host of the Sunday sports show Kontrattakk together with his team are all geared up for a speedy programme as a minimum of eight matches need to be covered during the weekly ninety minute programme.

L-Argument returns with a bang this week to discuss local football. Infact today’s program, who will start half an hour later, will discuss local premier league games featuring both the weekend games and those played mid-week. For this purpose L-Argument welcomes Paul Spiteri (Valletta), Manuel Bezzina (B'Kara), Stefan Zahra (Hibs), Michael Woods (Floriana) and resident guest Paul Farrugia who will all have their fair share in discussing the topic.

St Patrick’s100 year anniversary celebrations will be featured in today’s L-Argument. However this won’t be the only slot dedicated to the second most prestigious division in Malta.
