After surviving a scare in the first session, Neptunes Emirates cruised to an easy victory against 3CX Exiles with their key players Jordan Camilleri and Niki Lanzon making the difference. The first session went 4-2 in favour of Exiles but Neptunes recovered well in the second session winning 4-1.

Neptunes continued cruising in the third session winning 3-0 to set up a four goal lead for the final session. In the final session, Exiles amanged to regain some pride winning 1-0 for a final score of 9-6 in favour of Neptunes.

In what had initially appeared to be a balanced encounter, Sliema McDonalds and Sirens Ritter Sports slugged it out with the first two sessions finishing 0-2 and 3-1 for perfect parity between the two sides at the interval. Sirens ended up easy winners practically humiliating Sliema however.

However three goals from Charlie Zammit, Andrew Zarb Cousin and Jurgen Borg in the third session put Sirens three goals ahead for the final session, a quite enviable position.

The final session simply saw Sirens cementing their position scoring early in the session through Spiteri Debarro with two fine lobs. The goals kept coming with Sirens totally in control for a memorable victory against Sliema.
