Former Floriana and Malta midfielder Joe Brincat was expected to be appointed as coach by Floriana FC yesterday.

Brincat is said to take charge of the greens till the end of the season after Michael Woods resigned from coach last week after some disagreement he had with the committee.

Floriana lost their last two matches against Birkirkara and Hibernians last week.
