A four-man MFA delegation consisting of president Norman Darmanin Demajo, Chief Executive Officer Bjorn Vassallo, Secretary General Joe Gauci and Treasurer Antoine Portelli will be attending the UEFA Congress being held in Istanbul, Turkey.

The Congress, under the chairmanship of UEFA President Michel Platini, will start today.

Platini is to visit Malta late next week on a one-day visit.

Meanwhile UEFA has selected Malta to organize the Under 17 UEFA tournament finals in 2014.

It is the first time that Malta will be hosting the finals of such a prestigious event.
