After the two splendid Dragonara Tazza l-Kbira semi-finals won by Nuage du Bourgogne and Livi Cantona in some excellent times last weekend, racing continues next Sunday with an all-trot eight race card on a 2,140m distance.
Among the main attractions, we find two interesting Premier class races with a field of sixteen trotters.
The first includes various horses which recently won promotion from the Gold class, such as Nomade de Mai, Janitor and Le Bolide du Suret. Others have been racing in the Premier class for some time, with horses such as Oscarina and Candy Fantasy placing well recently.
The second race groups together trotters with the highest points, a number of which have either won or placed well recently. These include among others Nec Carmolo, Nono de Crouay, Think Yatzee, and Count of Life.
There will also be three Condition race semi-finals from each of the Copper and Silver A classes, with the first three horses from each race making it to the respective final on Easter Sunday.
All are expected to be balanced races, whose outcome is difficult to predict.
In the Silver A races, various horses have recently been in good form, including Petrus du Vivier (two wins in two races), recent winners Prince Regent, Orphee Kadesh, Stainless Steel, Norfolk de Gouerie, Lord of Rush, Landi Breton, Prince du Moutier and Orgeat and many others.
More top quality racing is in the offing, offering an entertaining sprint afternoon at the racetrack.
