I recently completed an MBA degree via distance learning with the University of Leicester School of Management. This course was partly-funded by the Malta Government Scholarship Scheme (MGSS). As an area of specialisation, I focused on Information Technology project management in Maltese organisations.
My dissertation explored the link between IT Project Management Maturity (PMM) and two elements of project success: The reaching of project target dates and budgeted costs. The ultimate aim of this study was to investigate the Maltese scenario of IT PMM with similar studies performed abroad and compare and contrast any similarities or differences that are observed.
I wish to thank all those responsible for making this scheme available for Maltese students. I am sure that the aim of attracting more students into postgraduate courses will be beneficial to the Maltese economy and society.
