Malta suffered another defeat, this time at the hands of Kosovo, as it played for position between 85 and 96.

Edward Baldacchino lost 3-1 to Rrahman Ademaj, Andrew Gambina lost 3-0 to Linor Citakau and Alex Soler also lost 3-0 to Bator Citaku.

Baldacchino had started on a positive note winning the first set 11-9, but then he lost the next three 7-11, 7-11, 4-11.

Gambina lost his three sets 7-11, 5-11, 7-11, while Soler result was 8-11, 4-11, 10-12.

Malta will now be meeting Laos today in a group of four to play for position between 93 and 96. The winner of the tie will face either Nicaragua or Cameroon in the final match tomorrow.
