The Youths Section within Our Lady of Lilies Musical Society of Mqabba would like to express its gratitude towards all those who have worked hard so that its latest drama event would turn out into such a great success. L-Akbar Komplott is a Good Friday drama, written by Nicholas Briffa.

The story portrayed the crucifixion of Jesus from an unusual perspective. Indeed, the plot revolved around the conspiracy of the Jewish Priests in order to get rid of Jesus. This event was a fine spectacle of acting, light, music and costumes, with a magnificent stage, held on Saturday 31 March at Mqabba Primary School Hall.

The committee would like to thank all those who helped in the organisation of this event, from the stage constructors to the actors, and make-up artist. Without their help, this event wouldn’t have turned out into such a great success. A special “thank you” goes to the wonderful audience packing the hall, and last but not least the headmistress and staff of Mqabba Primary School for their kind collaboration.
