Fair Competition Minister Jason Azzopardi heard about Green Skips Services Ltd when he visited the company at Magħtab – the company manages industrial waste and will this year be celebrating its 20th anniversary. It is managed by two women directors.

Green Skips Services Ltd offers also waste services related to other products such as containers, dustbins, furniture, and clinical waste containers.

Dr Azzopardi stressed the need for more women to join the workforce or open their own business.

Doris Sammut, one of the directors, said that 20 years ago the company started with three employees only, today they employ 33, 11 of them employed in the last two years.
