The women’s national team defeated Luxembourg in 3-2 a friendy in Luxembourg. This was the second consecutive victory of the Maltese girls over Luxembourg, after the 3-1 victory obtained at Ta’ Qali last November.

Malta’s goals came from Dorianne Theuma who scored a brace, and Ylenia Carabott.

Meanwhile the Malta Academy team, reserved for children born in 1998, beat Catania 3-2 in a friendly match played in Catania.

The team is managed by coach Anthony Garzia and Youth Development Officer Sergio Soldano. The Maltese youngsters’ goals were scored by Michele Sansone, Aiden Friggieri and Matthew Barthet.
