The Kavallieri RS2 Under 17 boys team (above) are the new Maltese champions after winning against all local clubs in a three round league format organised by the Malta Handball Association.

Under the guidance of young coach Luke Zammit, and with the assistance of Twanny Xuereb and Andrea Damato, the team managed to obtain a total of 24 points, three ahead of La Salle, effectively making club history after previously having only managed third place.

The Kavallieri Handball Club committee expressed its gratitude to the RS2 Group for their annual sponsorship and was very proud that the club is in the running for another three league championships in different categories.
