Malta Squash is hosting the Squash European Team Championships 2012 Division 3 from 18 to 21 April, both days inclusive at the Marsa Sports club. This is the first time that such a top European squash tournament is being held in Malta.

Ten men’s teams and seven women’s teams including Malta are taking part and there are close to one hundred players coming from twelve different European countries.

The Maltese men will be facing opponents from Ukraine, Norway, Lithuania, Croatia, Cyprus, Luxemburg, Poland, Gibraltar and Turkey, while the women have to play against Turkey, Greece,Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Croatia.

Both Maltese national teams are very well prepared. They have been training intensively for this tournament and with the gold medals they won in the GSSE 2011 still fresh in their memories they are looking towards achieving very good results.
