For the third year running, the Malta Employees Sports Association (MESA), which organises sports activities for employees in Government departments and entities, will be organising a 5 kilometre road race on the Salini Coast Road on 27 April.

The race will start and finish at the car park opposite the Coastline Hotel and starts at 2.30pm. MESA is confident of a satisfactory turn out for this year’s edition especially after the favourable comments about the organisation of the race by participants in the first two editions. MESA thanked Birkirkara St Joseph Sports Club for providing the necessary equipment for this race.

The participation fee is €10 per participant. Prizes will be given to the top three overall winners, both male and female, as well as to the top three over 35 athletes and to the top three teams. Each team is to consist of not less than four athletes, with the times of three athletes counting towards the final result.
