The winter league will soon come to an end as the final (best of three matches) gets underway today at the National Pool at Tal-Qroqq, starting at 6.45pm.

Local giants Sliema and Neptunes Emirates will be facing each other after having won their semifinals against Exiles and San Giljan last weekend.

It is a best of three series. The second match is being played on Sunday and the third next Tuesday. But if a team wins the opening two matches – that being played today and that on Sunday – there will be no need for Tuesday’s third match.

Also on Sunday, prior to the big match, there will be the clash between the losing semifinals, San Giljan and Exiles, for the third place.
