Qormi Striker Jorge Pereira Da Silva is the BOV Player of the Month for April 2012. The Brazilian striker was instrumental in helping Qormi secure their Premier League status by staying top of the relegation pool.

Undoubtedly, Pereira Da Silva’s top performance of the month were in Qormi’s 6-0 routing of Marsaxlokk where he hit a hat-trick taking his tally to 17 and third overall in the Premier League Top Scorers table.

His goal-scoring instinct was evident when he also scored against Hamrun and Tarxien to find the net five times during the month of April.

Herbert Catania, Manager of Bank of Valletta’s Qormi Branch presented the BOV Player of the Month trophy for April 2012 to Pereira Da Silva (photo). The player chose Puttinu Cares to benefit from the donation related to this award.
