Eugenio Borg was the overall winner of The Muscat Cup during a Trap Selection shoot organised this weekend by The Malta shooting Sport Federation at the Bidnija ranges.

This selection was on 125 clays, 75 on Saturday and 50 yesterday morning, with the best six to qualify for the barrage finals of 25 clays.

Eugenio Borg won with 130 (113+17) followed closely by Dr. James Galea with 129 (110+19). Jeffery Pisani placed third with 126 (108+18), Stephen Vella fourth with 125 (107+18), George Cassar fifth with 124 (113+11) and Nicky Carabott sixth with 123 (106+17)

Class A First George Cassar 48/50, second Stephen Vella 44/50, third Dr.James Galea 43/50.

Class B First Peter Muscat 45/50, second Silvio Attard 45/50, third Michael Galea 42/50.

Class C First Emmanuel Saliba 35/50, second Pierre Montebello 34/50.
