All Ages Scholl are the new champions of the national netball league after beating last year’s champions Fuego, last Sunday, even though they still need to play their last game against NRG.

Despite the fact that All Ages Scholl beat Fuego with a comfortable score of 40 – 31 in the first round, last Sunday’s game proved to be a tougher win. In fact Fuego won the first and fourth quarters of the game. However, All Ages Scholl won the second and third quarters with enough shots to win the game with a final score of 29 – 28.

As from the beginning of this season, All Ages Scholl, together with the coaches and the committee of the club, demonstrated determination and worked hard for this success. It is therefore a well deserved honour and augurs well to the new sponsor Scholl who entrusted All Ages with their sponsorship.

All Ages Netball Club, registered with Kunsill Malti għall-iSport (KMS), is synonymous with Netball in Malta being the longest established team participating in netball locally and internationally, without interruption since 1979.

This season the Club celebrates its 32nd year of successful activity and continues to build for the future. The club presently has three teams. All Ages Scholl, participate in the first division league and All Ages Too participated in the second division league. The third team is made up of girls under 17 years of age who are still in the development stages of learning the game while playing with other teams of the same age.
