Our heritage and environment group, Flimkien għal Ambjent Aħjar, would like to thank Ian Ellis for his enthralling talk about his great-grandfather’s life and work, as well as developments in the field of photography, in his talk entitled Richard Ellis – The Man & His Legacy held on Wednesday, 16 May.
We are very grateful to sponsors Canon/Avantech, the Foto Grafer and the Phoenicia Hotel for making it possible for us to bring this unique archive of Malta’s history and heritage of the last 150 years to the attention of the public. Special thanks go to the hardworking FAA volunteers for their active participation in the preparation and running of the event.
Last but definitely not least, our thanks go to the 270 people who attended the talk, as well as to all those who continue to support our cause of promoting awareness and preservation of Malta’s unique heritage and environment.
Given that we’ve received such enthusiastic feedback after the talk, we are considering a follow-up. We therefore invite members of the public who are interested in this and other heritage subjects to contact us on [email protected] in order to be included on our mailing list informing them of such events.
