George Cassar won a bronze medal at the Spinella shooting range, in San Marzano De San Giuzeppe, Italy, during the Italian Military Shotgun championships.

For this event three shooters from The Malta Shooting Sport Federation, George Cassar, Nicholas Carabott and Jason J. Aquilina, took part in the non Military Trap Event organised last weekend.

The MSSF President, Saviour Portelli, assisted the shooters for this event in Italy.

Regini Giuzeppe won the event with 114/125. In second place was Camerani Daniele with 110/125.

Cassar George placed third with 107/125, followed by Casadei Alessandro with 106/125. Carabott Nicholas placed fifth with 99/125 and Aquilina Jason John was sixth with 92/125.
