Malta’s Under 21 national team will today play another Group 2 qualifying match from the UEFA European Championships, when they face Sweden in Halmstadt.

Malta are currently at the bottom of the Group, despite taking a win and two draws from eight matches played.

Slovenia’s 1-1 draw with Finland yesterday, enabled them to extend their lead at the top of the Group. Sweden, who played only six matches so far, are second, four points adrift.
