Maltese fans delighted after West Ham’s return to the Premier League

A good number of West Ham United fans attended the Championship Play-off final between West Ham and Blackpool last month at Wembley Stadium.

After missing a season in the Premier League, West Ham clinched promotion as Ricardo Vaz Te’s late winner sealed a dramatic 2-1 victory over Blackpool in the Championship playoff.

The Maltese Hammers visited Upton Park and met some of the West Ham players including Mark Noble, Captain Kevin Nolan, Robert Green and Ricardo Vaz Te and team manager Sam Allardyce, right after practice the day before the game.
