St Andrews had a very easy passage to the final after beating Zejtun by eleven goals.

So superior were the Saints that their keeper Kane Valletta dealt with only one shot during the whole 70 minutes and by back-passes from his colleagues.

After only five minutes St Andrews opened the score as Matthew Guillaumier served Kyrian Nwoko with a through ball in the area and he scored with a low shot past Zejtun keeper Miguel Mercieca.

St Andrews resumed their attacking and Mercieca foiled Luca Ferrante in the area after being put through by Jacob Walker. Then Sean Gatt Baldacchino had a shot blocked after a Guillaumier through pass.

The score became 2-0 in the 12th minute when Kyle Muscat dribbled past an opponent on the left flank and after the ball was partly cleared, Luke Gialanze scored with a hard drive from the rebound. 

In Zejtun’s only action in the first period, Bjorn Bartolo served Cliven Farrugia in the area but Valletta neutralised the high ball with a perfect interception. 

St Andrews scored two more goals between the 25th and 31st minutes. Gullaumier released Muscat on the left flank who scored with a rising shot after entering the area and from a well-taken flag kick by Ferrante, Liam Grech headed past Mercieca. 

The second period was a total dominance by St Andrews as they scored seven more goals.

In the 38th minute Ferrante entered the area after a run down the left flank and after he was tripped by Justin De Giorgio, Jonathan Stilon scored from the penalty spot. 

Five minutes later Ferrante entered the area after dribbling past three opponents and scored with a low shot.   

The score became 7-0 in the 45th minute when Guillaumier served substitute Max Amato in the area who scored with a lobbed ball.

Four minutes later, substitute Scott Schembri served Ferrante in the area and after he was tripped, keeper Valletta converted from the spot for an 8-0 scoreline. 

Max Amato scored No 9 in the 51st minute from inside the area after a cross from the right by Schembri. 

Zejtun mounted their only action in the 59th minute as Leon Agius dribbled past an opponent and Valletta saved his effort from outside the area in two attempts. 

The final two goals were scored between the 65th and 67th minute. Aidan Sullivan served Amato with a through ball who scored with a low shot and the same player scored again after a perfect cross from the right by Gullaumier.
