Maltese Junior Double Trap shooter Nathan Lee Xuereb, above, finished in eighth place in the Juniors International Shooting Championships, organised in Suhl, Germany.

Xuereb managed 42/50 in his first round followed by 43/50 in his second round. He improved his score in his third round with 48/50, for 133/150 to finish in eighth place overall. He was assisted by MSSF Double Trap coach Jimmy Bugeja.

Junior Trap shooter James Galea will be competing in the Trap event today and tomorrow.

Nathan lee Xuereb and William Chetcuti’s next commitment is the Italia International Double Trap Grand Prix 2012 to be organised by FITAV at Umbria Verde Shooting Ranges in Italy on the last week of June.
