The revised bus schedule has meant that the number of buses that pass through San Gwann, heading to or from Mosta and Naxxar has been drastically cut down.

Since last July, when the public transport reform came to be, residents of San Gwann had an excellent service with the 21 and 23 routes. But since 27 May, these have been replaced by a 225 route which does not service the locality with the same frequency.

Between July and May, we used to get buses every 10 minutes; these days we are getting one every half an hour. Sometimes this is not even the case because buses turn up late, so it has often happened that we have had to wait for 45 minutes.

I believe that Arriva, or the Transport Authority, or both, should once again revise the system and have more buses pass through San Gwann.
