Why are so many people complaining about the outdoor football village? Once every two years, football fans and even those who are not fanatics, are treated to the spectacles which are the European Cup and the World Cup.
Football fans supporting various teams congregate in a good atmosphere to enjoy a couple of games every day. It can get a little rowdy and noisy, but the spirit is always positive. It only lasts a couple of hours anyway, so one really cannot see why people are getting so uptight about it. These football villages are found in all major European cities, so why all the bother about a small one in St Julian’s?
