Jeffrey Pisani won the Horace Micallef Enterprise Trophy, a Trap competition organised by the Malta Shooting Sport Federation in its Bidnija ranges yesterday.
The comptition consistedon a first round shoot on 50 clays, with the best six qualifying for the final barrage on a further 25 clays.
Jeffrey Pisani ended with a total of 68 clays after hitting 45 out of 50 in the first barrage, and 23 out of 25 in the final barrage.
Alvin Vella came second with a total of 67, hitting 46 clays in the first round, and 21 in the final barrage.
The third place was secured by Charlie Calleja who hit 46 in the first barrage, being momentraily in first place, but hit only 19 in the final barrage, ending with a total of 65 clays.
Kevin Pace and Stephen Vella came fourth with 64 clays, followed by Jean Pierre Borg with 59.
At the end of the competition, Malta Shooting Sport Fedration President Salvu Portelli presented trophies and medals to the winners, as can be seen in the picture on the right.
