The two matches for the Super Cups are being played this evening at the National Pool at Tal-Qroqq.

Marsascala MOR£ face Ta’ Xbiex Amigos in the Ghaqda Gurnalisti Sports Cup, while bitter rivals Sliema McDonalds and Neptunes Emirates will face each other in the match for the President’s Cup.

Both these games will be played to a finish, with extra time being played if necessary, and, if required, the taking of penalties will determine the winners.

The Disciplinary Code identifies these two competitions as being distinct from all other competitions. This means that members suspended for matches (not periods of time) in other competitions will be eligible to participate in the Super Cups. Any match suspensions (not fines) incurred in respect of offences committed during the Super Cups will be discounted in next season’s Super Cups and not in any competition this

year.

All proceeds will be donated to charitable institutions.
