I would like to express deep disappointment and concern on the amount of rubbish on Tigne` beach, that all our community see on the beach and stairs leading to it. 

It seems that cleaning is not done regularly and there is a clear need for a public toilet. There are people throwing rubbish and using open spaces as toilets and generally misbehaving and causing a nuisance.  The local wardens, the police and the local council remain unresponsive and do not show any signs of concern.

The stairs leading to the beach are full of rubbish and human waste (urine, etc.)

Apart of being an eyesore for locals and foreigners, it is also a hazard for swimmers and passersby with the amount of broken glass and other dangerous items.  This also is a hazard to our environment since plastic and broken glass bottles are being thrown into the sea.

There is a presence of rats in Tigne coming from the beach. Needless to say, this is a very big concern.

Whilst hoping that serious and quick action is taken, I thank you for taking your time to read this letter and look forward to see all the changes for a better and safer environment.
